The Progressive Liberal Party is saddened and shocked by the reported plane crash in Treasure Cay, Abaco on Monday, 5 July 2021.
The fatal crash claimed the lives of two former Royal Bahamas Defense Force marines, Jason Allen and Lavan Paul. Both pilots were regarded among our nation’s best and brightest.
The tragedy is a sobering reminder of how precious life is and the suddenness of death’s blow.
On behalf of our Leader, Hon. Philip Brave Davis, Deputy Leader I. Chester Cooper and the officers and members of the Progressive Liberal Party, I express condolences to the Allen and Paul families and the extended aviation family on their untimely passing.
May their souls rest in eternal peace.
