Kirk Russell is a son of Central Grand Bahama and a Trade Unionist serving as the current Vice President of the Bahamas Hotel Managerial Association and Vice President of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas Trade Union Congress for Northern Bahamas.
No stranger to local government, Kirk has served as Deputy Township Chairman, and then Chairman, for the Pinder’s Point Township Local Government when he guided his community through the aftermath of Hurricanes Francis, Jean and Wilma.
While he has worked as Head Chef at the Grand Lucayan since 2000, Kirk Russell is also a trained Labour Advocate and Disaster Manager.
Kirk is married to Patrice Knowles – they have six children, six grandchildren and one son-in-law. He has also served as the drummer in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for more than forty years.
