Four years after having graduated with a degree in Marketing and Economics, Jomo Campbell changed course and decided to study law. He later graduated with an LLM (Master of Laws) with distinction, recognised as a World Trade specialist. He practices with a leading set of Bahamian attorneys. Among his successes, he has helped to reshape the legal culture.

As well as his legal practice, Jomo Campbell is highly engaged in a number of community activities. He is a member of Toastmasters International, Club 1600, and is very active in the Grants Town Methodist Church, where he often serves in the ministry.

Junkanoo is one of his great passions, and he uses his talents not only to make some of the great masterpieces seen on Bay Street, but also as a vehicle to support his work mentoring the young men of Centreville. Having grown up in the neighbourhood, he embraces a sense of duty to lift up others following behind him.

In his quiet moments he enjoys reading, listening to music, writing short stories, lyrics and poems.
