Chris Saunders is a veteran journalist, having worked for over two decades in the television and radio sports broadcasting arena and as a public relations specialist within The Bahamas.

Showing a profound commitment to education, Chris graduated from Paul Quinn College with a BA in Communication and is a graduate of the School of Journalism at The University of Missouri-Columbia with a Masters in Journalism.

He is a well-known name and face within the Bahamian community, having been a nightly anchor on ZNS’ The Bahamas Tonight at the Broadcasting Corporation of the Bahamas for many years, where he eventually rose to the position of Deputy Director of News.

He is a nationally certified basketball referee and an internationally certified statistician and table official.

Additional to his career pursuits, Christopher has demonstrated a thorough passion and commitment to God and church and is a licensed lay reader and chalice bearer within the Anglican Diocese.

He is an active member at St. Matthew’s Anglican Church in Nassau, where he serves on the parish’s vestry.
