When I see a child in the road, who doesn’t always have enough to eat or a safe place to play, I know what he’s thinking. I know what his parents are dreaming about for him, and I know the barriers that stand in his way. I’ve walked in his shoes and I don’t underestimate who he could be if we give him a chance. Let’s knock down those barriers – these are the Bahamians I’m fighting for.
